Myanmar donates 1000 metric tonnes of Rice to Sri Lanka

Myanmar donated 1000 metric tonnes of Myanmar White Rice worth Sri Lankan Rupees 170 Million (approximately USD 463,215) to the Government of Sri Lanka on September 2, the Sri Lankan embassy in Yangon said.

The consignment was officially handed over to the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar Janaka Bandara, by the Myanmar Union Minister for Commerce U. Aung Naing Oo, at a handing over ceremony at Asia World Port Terminal in Yangon, Myanmar.
