Oct 17, 2018 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday afternoon said that the media reports on an alleged involvement of an Indian Intelligence Service in a plot to assassinate Sri Lanka's President are baseless and false.
Releasing a statement, the ministry said it is disappointing that matters of this nature have become the subject of distorted and erroneous media reports taking the President's remarks out of context, which has given rise to further speculation.
